Ingredients (for 1 liter)

  • 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 piece fresh ginger (about 2 cm), sliced
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Preparation

  1. Bring the water to a boil.
  2. Pour the hot water over the hibiscus flowers and ginger slices.
  3. Let infuse for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain, add the lemon juice and honey if desired.
